What is ROOMS?
ROOMS is a Telegram-native prediction market platform where users can bet on crypto price outcomes, pump.fun market caps, and custom markets with instant settlements, transparent odds, and low fees — all powered by Solana, Helius, and Turnkey.
Are my funds safe?
Yes. Your funds are secured through enterprise-grade infrastructure powered by Turnkey for key management. Every user has their own non-custodial Solana wallet - we never hold your private keys. All transactions are atomic and happen on-chain. Deposits are monitored via Helius webhooks and withdrawals are processed directly to your wallet. Your balance is backed 1:1 by SOL in the platform's hot wallet.
How do fees work?
3% total fee on the payout pool: 2% protocol fee, 1% host fee. Fees are only deducted from winnings, not from losing bets. If you bet 1 SOL and lose, you lose 1 SOL (no additional fee). If you win, fees come out of the total payout pool before distribution to winners.
Who can create a room, and what do hosts earn?
Anyone can create a room. Room creators (hosts) earn 1% of the total pool when their room settles. With V2's dynamic odds system, hosts can also participate as bettors. There's no cost to create a room - just set your market, pick a settlement time, and deploy.
How is pricing determined?
V2 Dynamic Odds: Your odds lock the moment you bet, based on current pool state. Formula: odds = (totalPool / yourSidePool). As more people bet on one side, that side's odds get worse while the opposite side's odds improve. Early bettors and contrarian positions get better odds locked in permanently.
Are fees taken on losing bets?
No. Fees are only taken from the winning payout pool, not from individual losing bets. If you lose, you lose exactly what you bet - nothing more. The 3% fee is deducted from the total pool before distributing to winners.
How fast are payouts?
Instant. Settlement happens automatically via oracle monitoring (10-second polling). When a room's settlement time is reached or target is hit, winners are credited immediately. No manual claims needed - your balance updates and you get a notification within seconds of settlement.
